31 Days of Fear Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion

The promotion is the The Great Escape – 31 Days of Fear Giveaway (“Promotion”).

By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The promoter is [STONEBRIDGE CAPITAL], ABN [37 669 187 151], trading as The Great Escape (“Promoter”), of [7/33 Cremorne Street, Cremorne VIC 3121].

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion opens at 12:00am on 1 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 October 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

Times relating to an escape-room session are determined according to the local time of the Participating Venue at which the session is played.

Bookings made before the Promotion Period are eligible provided the escape-room session itself is played during the Promotion Period and otherwise meets these Terms and Conditions.

3. Eligible States and Participating Venues

The Promotion is available in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia through participating The Great Escape venues:

  • The Great Escape x Hole in One – Melbourne CBD, Victoria
  • The Great Escape – Carlton, Victoria
  • The Great Escape – Bendigo, Victoria
  • The Great Escape – Redfern, New South Wales
  • The Great Escape – Klemzig, South Australia

Only eligible escape-room bookings at a Participating Venue qualify for entry. Mini golf, food and beverage purchases, gift-card purchases and other products or services do not generate an entry unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

Employees, officers and contractors of the Promoter, participating The Great Escape venues, businesses directly involved in conducting or promoting the Promotion, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

The Promoter may request reasonable evidence of an entrant’s identity, age, place of residence or qualifying booking before awarding the Prize.

5. How to Enter

To receive an entry, an eligible entrant must:

  1. make or hold a fully paid booking for an escape-room experience at a Participating Venue; and
  2. complete that escape-room experience during the Promotion Period.

Each eligible completed escape-room booking receives one (1) entry into the draw.

The entry will be attributed to the lead booker named on the booking and will use the contact details associated with that booking.

There is no additional fee to enter the Promotion. The escape-room experience must be purchased at its normal advertised selling price, including any generally available promotion or discount valid at the time of booking.

Multiple entries are permitted where an entrant completes multiple separate eligible escape-room bookings during the Promotion Period.

Cancelled, refunded, fraudulent, complimentary or no-show bookings do not qualify for entry.

6. Double Entry Days

Eligible escape-room sessions played on a Wednesday or Sunday during the Promotion Period receive two (2) entries instead of one (1).

For clarity, the eligible Double Entry Days are:

Sundays: 4, 11, 18 and 25 October 2026
Wednesdays: 7, 14, 21 and 28 October 2026.

The actual date on which the escape-room session is played determines whether the booking receives double entries.

If a booking is rescheduled, its entry entitlement will be determined by the date on which the escape-room experience is actually completed.

Each individual entry has an equal chance of being selected in the draw.

7. Prize

There is one (1) major prize package to be won with a total advertised retail value of approximately AUD $2,911 (“Prize”).

The Prize comprises:

  • AUD $1,000 cash;
  • one (1) PlayStation 5 console Digital Edition 825GB;
  • one (1) pair of Sony WH-1000XM6 Premium Noise Cancelling Headphones – Black;
  • one (1) copy of Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 Digital Edition; and
  • three (3) The Great Escape escape-room tokens for use at the winner’s applicable/local participating The Great Escape venue, for up to 6 people to participate.

The escape-room tokens are subject to The Great Escape’s standard booking terms, availability and any expiry date advised when the tokens are issued.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for Australian release after the Promotion Period. The game component of the Prize will therefore be supplied once commercially available in Australia.

Unless otherwise stated, the Prize is not transferable or exchangeable at the winner’s request and non-cash components cannot be redeemed for cash.

Where a Prize component becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may, subject to applicable law and any required consent, substitute that component with an item of the same or greater value.

Any ancillary costs associated with accepting or using the Prize that are not expressly stated as forming part of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.

8. Prize Value

Prize values are based on recommended or generally available Australian retail prices at the time these Terms and Conditions are published.

The total maximum Prize value is approximately AUD $2,911.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for subsequent fluctuations in the retail value of any Prize component.

9. Draw

The Prize winner will be determined by a random electronic draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

The draw will take place:

Date: October 31, 2026
Time: 5pm AEST
Location: Level 4, 525 Flinders Street, Melbourne 3000.

Entrants do not need to be present at the draw.

Each valid entry will have an equal chance of being selected. Double Entry Day participants receive two separate entries into the same random draw.

The first valid eligible entry randomly selected will be the provisional winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

There is one Prize and one winner.

10. Winner Notification and Publication

The provisional winner will be contacted in writing using the email address and/or telephone number associated with their qualifying booking within two (2) business days of the draw.

The Promoter may request information reasonably necessary to verify the winner’s eligibility before the Prize is awarded.

The winner’s first initial, surname and postcode, or other details required by applicable law, will be published at:

https://greatescapeau.com/terms-and-conditions/

on or by 2 October 2026.

The winner information will remain published online for at least 28 days, or for any longer period required by applicable law.

The Promoter will only publish personal information to the extent required to administer the Promotion and comply with applicable law.

11. Claiming the Prize

The winner must respond to the Promoter and claim the Prize within 14 days of written notification.

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner using the contact information associated with their entry.

Subject to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Prize will be delivered, paid or transferred to the winner within the timeframe required by applicable law.

The $1,000 cash component will be paid by electronic bank transfer to an Australian bank account nominated by the winner unless another lawful method is agreed.

The winner is responsible for ensuring that the details they provide for delivery or payment are accurate.

12. Unclaimed Prize

If the provisional winner:

  • cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts;
  • does not claim the Prize within the stated claim period;
  • is found to be ineligible;
  • provides false or misleading information; or
  • otherwise fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions,

the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize redraw, subject to applicable law.

Any unclaimed prize redraw will take place:

Date: 16 November 2026
Location: Level 7/33 Cremorne Street, Cremorne VIC 3121.

The redraw will be conducted randomly from the remaining valid entries.

Any replacement winner will be contacted in writing within two (2) business days of the redraw and their details will be published on https://greatescapeau.com/terms-and-conditions/ for the period required by applicable law.

13. Invalid Entries and Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants.

An entry may be declared invalid where the Promoter reasonably determines that it:

  • resulted from a cancelled, refunded or fraudulent booking;
  • was created through manipulation of the Promoter’s booking or competition systems;
  • contains false or misleading information;
  • does not satisfy the entry requirements in these Terms and Conditions; or
  • otherwise involves conduct intended to unfairly interfere with the Promotion.

The Promoter will act reasonably when determining whether an entry is invalid.

14. Booking Changes and Technical Issues

Where an escape-room booking is rescheduled, eligibility and the number of entries awarded will be based on the date on which the escape-room session is actually played.

The Promoter is not responsible for entries that cannot be identified because an entrant has provided incorrect, incomplete or outdated contact information.

If a technical or administrative error affects the recording of entries, the Promoter may take reasonable steps to reconstruct or correct the affected entries using booking records so that eligible entrants receive the entries to which they are entitled.

15. Changes to or Cancellation of the Promotion

If circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control prevent the Promotion from being conducted as planned, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion only to the extent reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law.

Any material change will be communicated to entrants or published on the Promotion webpage as soon as reasonably practicable.

Nothing in this clause permits the Promoter to retrospectively remove a valid entry or otherwise unfairly disadvantage an entrant contrary to applicable law.

16. Privacy

Personal information collected through an entrant’s booking may be used by the Promoter for the purposes of:

  • administering the Promotion;
  • verifying eligibility;
  • conducting the draw;
  • contacting and verifying the winner;
  • delivering the Prize;
  • publishing winner information where required by law; and
  • complying with legal and regulatory obligations.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.

Participation in this Promotion does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive marketing communications. Marketing communications will only be sent where the entrant has separately provided the required consent or where otherwise permitted by law.

Entrants should ensure that their booking contact details are correct and current.

17. Liability and Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for loss or damage caused by matters outside its reasonable control, including delays in the availability or delivery of a third-party Prize component.

18. Third-Party Brands

Any third-party trademarks, products or brand names referred to in connection with the Prize are used solely to identify the relevant Prize components.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, this Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sony Corporation, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or their respective related companies.

19. Disputes

Any questions or complaints relating to the Promotion should first be directed to the Promoter at tgem@greatescapeau.com

The Promoter will consider any dispute reasonably, fairly and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits an entrant’s right to contact a relevant consumer protection or gaming regulator or exercise any other legal right available to them.

20. General

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws applicable in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia as relevant to each entrant and the conduct of the Promotion.

The Promoter will retain competition and entry records for the period required under applicable law.
